wHY BOOK AN AUTHOR VISIT? (do you see what i did there?)
A visit by a real author is an EXCELLENT way to connect students with literacy. An author who delivers hands on science labs with REAL specimens, experiments, and artifacts will show kids (and adults) how to explore the world in ways that keep them motivated and engaged!
I love delivering labs to schools near and far, and I WANT TO BRING YOU THE SCIENCE! I have delivered exciting hands on labs to over 100 schools and camps, and to thousands of excited investigators.
As a long-time teacher, I know how important it is to target specific standards, so I form my presentations around the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards). If you (or your state) has specific standards that you’d like to emphasize during my visit, just let me know!
